Te Vaka in Detroit

Te Vaka performs their unique brand of Pacific music on the Chene Park Mainstage.

Mainstage. Across the water at the back of the stage you can just
see Canada in the distance.

While in Detroit the boys took the opportunity to visit Motown.

Polynesia meets Motown
The Pacific meets Motown. It appeared that Ope, Edwin, Manase, and Karika were possibly the first polynesian visitors to Hitsville USA. They were invited to be the first to mark their Islands on the Motown map where all visitors to Hitsville indicate which country they are from.

Te Vaka with new American Indian friends on Walpole Island in Canada where they were fortunate enough to spend the day chilling out after the concert on the beautiful Indian reservation.
